Michelle Sinclair Craddock grew up in Northern California and has always been very active with her church and community.

As a young girl, while most of her peers were playing with dolls, she was playing “office,” organizing papers and setting up filing systems. Over the years, this grew into a passion for accounting, one that would blossom into a satisfying career.

While attending Shasta College, Michelle was encouraged to take a Myers-Briggs test to help her decide what she should study. The results of the test revealed that one of the careers she would excel at was bookkeeping. To her, it made perfect sense as numbers were already second nature.

After college and early in her professional career, Michelle was asked to participate in a profile test, an assessment that lends insight into the way people think and behave. Her testing revealed that her brain processes quadrilaterally: 23 percent analytical, 36 percent structural, 31 percent social, and 10 percent conceptual. In layman’s terms, this means that she was born to be an accountant.

Michelle received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. Today, she is a seasoned accountant with more than 20 years of experience in a wide range of industries. Having spent much of her career working as a controller in the private sector, she brings a wealth of experience to the table that includes everything from small, privately-owned companies to major corporations and companies that are traded on the NYSE.

Michelle’s consulting career began as a result of the recession in 2007. She gained critical experience and knowledge from observing the companies that were hit hard financially, and later, the new companies that emerged as a result.

As for what intrigues her about accounting and what drives her forward, Michelle shares:

“I have always been told that I am not a “typical” accountant. I definitely have a more social, fun, adventurous side to me that most people do not associate with accounting. I believe that this is a big part of why I have been so successful in my career."

"Accounting fulfills my love of math as well as my social side. I often describe accounting as a multi-faceted, highly in-depth puzzle, and I love the challenge of figuring that puzzle out."

"I get extreme insight into all the inner workings of a company by working on its books and with its personnel, helping me support them in reaching their financial and business goals."

Michelle is an adventurous soul who enjoys riding motorcycles, wakeboarding, mountain biking, camping, golfing, fishing, and traveling. She has even experienced skydiving! Currently headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, she enjoys spending time with her family and takes every opportunity to further her professional knowledge.
